About Me
My name is Michele Bartolomeo Azzopardi, and I am a UK-based glass artist specialising in creating unique and functional glass pieces for everyday use. My journey into the world of glass art began at Arts University Plymouth, where I first fell in love with the beauty and versatility of this incredible material. To deepen my understanding and refine my craft, I spent time in Murano, the historic heart of Venetian glassmaking. The techniques and traditions I encountered there have greatly influenced my work, allowing me to blend these classic methods with my own artistic vision. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces that are both practical and visually striking, each reflecting the rich heritage of Murano and my personal creative style.
